United Way Future Fund Investment and Audit Committee

The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Future Fund Investment committee is made up of a minimum of nine (9) individuals, many are current or former United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Board Members, including Dave Brown, the Executive Director of the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton.

The Investment and Audit Committee meets up to twice per year, or as required, to review the investment returns, asset allocations, and even who manages the Future Fund Capitol, etc.  The Committee will also review the annual United Way of Sarnia-Lambton audit and other financial matters of the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton as part of the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton transparency and fiduciary responsibility to its donors and stakeholders.  The committee will make various recommendations to the current United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Board of Directors as required.

The United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Board of Directors as a whole will review the recommendations of the Investment Committee, and the investment returns and understand the outlook for the year ahead at the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton Annual General Meetings, usually held the last Wednesday of each March.

Current Investment Policy

The purpose of the Investment Policy Statement is to establish and define the investment parameters of the discretionary investment management relationship between the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton, and Ridgewood Capital Asset Management.l (“TDW PIC”).
