My son, like his sister is bilingual, has played a number of travel sports not only in Sarnia, but also Port Huron, Chatham and London is looking forward to attending College Boreal in Sudbury where he will play Collegiate Volleyball and study Business.”
Dave has sat on a number of United Way Committees throughout Canada and has a good relationship with United Way staff and volunteers from both Canada and the United States. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners and is committed to a number of workshops and learning opportunities to keep abreast of new legislation, new ideas, and methods to keep the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton current; meeting the maximum amount of community needs as possible.
Dave is active in the community as both a board member of volunteer President/Chair of a local Not-for-Profit organization, and two parent councils when his children were young. He has also helped out a number of friends with their charitable projects locally and internationally.
Dave is very committed to the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton and the outcomes and impacts it and the funded agencies deliver. Dave, himself has committed 10% of his estate through his will and feels that it is important to walk the talk. He looks forward to talking about how he made his decision and what options are available to support the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton now and in the future.
We are proud that our grandmother made a significant donation of a life insurance policy to the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton. Members of our family have used services funded by the United Way in the past, and with our grandmother’s contribution, she is helping to ensure that those programs and services continue for future generations
